Master craftsman Stuart Manley lives on the Wenlock Edge with his wife Marianne and his William – both of whom have supported him during the challenge.
Stuart chose to row the Amazon as it felt like the progressive thing to do following successful rows down the River Severn, up the Caledonian Canal and across the Irish Sea – twice!
He is fundraising for two charities, both of which are very close to his heart:
- Motor Neurone Disease Association, in support of his Uncle Bryan – please donate here
- Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research), because his godson found himself diagnosed with Leukaemia at a young age – please donate here
Remember – all funds raised are going directly to the crew’s chosen charities!
