In November 2015, five rowers from Shropshire in the UK embarked on an epic journey of adventure that had only ever been attempted once before.
The challenge? To row the navigable length of the Amazon River, from Nauta in Peru to Macapá in Brazil – a total distance of 2,077 miles.
We rowed tirelessley through day and night, battling excruciating weather conditions, to complete the Row the Amazon challenge within 28.5 days.
We are proud to have achieved something truly extraordinary, witnessing some of the greatest sights on the planet in the process, while raising awareness and funds for some exceptional charities.
